From standing tall at award ceremonies to championing the LGBTQIA+ spirit through vibrant Pride and National Coming Out Day campaigns, .gay has made its mark in ways that are bold, authentic, and impactful.

Let’s look back at the moments that defined this year for .gay—moments that were, without a doubt, the gayest in every sense of the word.

4. Brand Partnerships with MUSIC.gay and SO.gay to Promote LGBTQIA+ Media Online

When: June, 2024

Where: USA

In 2024, .gay amplified its mission of uplifting LGBTQIA+ voices through strategic partnerships with MUSIC.gay and SO.gay, two trailblazing platforms that celebrate queer creativity and culture.

MUSIC.gay, hosted by queer musician Franki Jupiter, blends original music with candid conversations about identity, love, and artistry. Based in the Bay Area, Franki creates for polyamorous, neurodivergent theater kids while juggling gigs, trivia nights, and cat-filled downtime.

SO.gay, on the other hand, became the go-to hub for queer living, with health tips, travel guides, and exclusive interviews with influencers like journalist Gibson Johns and nightlife mogul Charles Hughes.

Together, these partnerships spotlighted LGBTQIA+ voices, proving that the .gay domain isn’t just a platform—it’s a movement.

5. The dotGay PRIDE Campaign: Celebrating Gay Power and Community Visibility

When: June, 2024

Where: USA

This year’s Pride campaign was a vibrant celebration of LGBTQIA+ identity, packed with impactful initiatives that showcased the power of unity, visibility, and inclusivity.

We kicked things off with the Gay Power ad campaign, which reached over 120,000 impressions, spreading a bold and empowering message. Partnering with Porkbun, we offered .gay domains at discounted rates and launched a series of inclusive ads celebrating Bears and Furries.

Our influencer campaign highlighted six incredible voices in the community: Franki Cena, Darvill Rodriguez, Tiq Milan, Chris Rhodes, James Mason, and Julian Gavino. Each shared their unique Pride stories, amplifying messages of authenticity and resilience.

We also collaborated with George Takei and the Personal Stories Project to introduce PersonalStories.gay, an evergreen initiative encouraging individuals to share their coming out journeys. During this campaign, we received 30+ emotional stories from LGBTQIA+ Individuals and their Allies, which we’ve been able to use to encourage others and their Coming Out journey.

In another partnership with GoDaddy.com, we provided resources and education about Pride and LGBTQIA+ history, and in a partnership with AntiRue, we were able to physically show off our support to the Community with co-branded swag.

Finally, we featured weekly customer stories on our blog, spotlighting dotGay websites and the inspiring Pride narratives behind them.

This year’s campaign was a testament to the diverse and vibrant voices within our community, and we can’t wait to build on this momentum in the years to come.

6. dotGay Activation at SERVE: NYC Pride Kickoff party with W Hotels and RuPaul’s Drag Race Queens

When: June, 2024

Where: Times Square, NYC, NY

As the title sponsor of SERVE (SERVE to Exist), dotGay proudly supported this high-energy celebration held on June 27—the anniversary of the first Gay Pride parade. Featuring performances by RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants and local drag stars, SERVE brought together the vibrant LGBTQIA+ community in an unforgettable night of entertainment and empowerment.

Our pre-event promotions, including the official ticket portal at ServeTheParty.gay and listings across Gaybors Agency and social platforms, positioned dotGay as a key partner in the event. On-site activations included branded table tents, a .gay-branded cabana, attendee tote bag goodies, and a shout-out during the drag show. We even lit up Times Square with a stunning “What does PRIDE mean to you?” billboard, amplifying the celebration far beyond the venue.

Post-event, attendees received branded recap emails featuring a one-minute video and photos from the night, highlighting dotGay’s presence.

With other partners like New York City Pride, USA Today, and Agentry PR in attendance, SERVE was an electrifying example of how dotGay uplifts and engages the LGBTQIA+ community.
