.gay giveaway

In the summer of 2020, .gay partnered with George Takei to give away a limited number of domain names to LGBTQ organizations, community groups, individuals, and small businesses looking for new ways to serve their communities online.

We worked with these community members to secure their .gay domain names and helped them get online free of charge. You will find many of these domain names on our list of .gay Early Adopters.

While this particular giveaway program is complete, we know these are difficult times, and LGBTQ visibility, community connection, and health information continue to be more important than ever. Therefore, we still want to make .gay accessible as a resource for LGBTQ communities.
