This Year Was So .Gay!

50 of the (Dot)Gayest Moments of 2020

As this year draws to a close, the whole team at .gay wanted to say thank you for being here with us through it all. Because of each of you, the .gay launch was an enormous success! 

In collaboration with our partner network, we reached over 564,000,000 people through our public launch and press tour, we have had over 2,300,000 people watch our web series The Library across multiple channels since it premiered in September, and most exciting of all, over 6,400 of you have already registered your own .gay domain names!

No one needs us to tell them that 2020 has had its share of challenges and losses across the globe. And yet, in the midst of it all, LGBTQ communities remain vibrant, resilient, and continue to adapt and move forward!

With that in mind, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the year we had here at .gay and celebrate some of 2020’s big wins before the curtain closes. (Note: This is, by no means, a comprehensive list — and it is in no particular order.)
